This year our school in cooperation with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) organized a Young Innovators Day on Saturday March 4th at the Mall of Cyprus.
During the event visitors had the opportunity to explore the future through 3D technology which included Robotics, Engineering, Electronic Circuits, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality, interactive games, 3D printers, 3D Projectors and scanners.
Children also had the opportunity to participate in Robotics competitions as well as a draw in order to win a scholarship for afternoon lessons in Robotics at the Grammar Institute. Other presents included Gizmos & Gadgets Kit from Little Bits as well as Engino Inventors sets. The results of the draw were announced by NAO, one of the most advanced educational humanoid robots in the world during a live link with Super F.M.
During the event there were booths by STEM Education and the Grammar Junior School providing information.
